About me:
Politically, pro-choice, pro-gay rights, and anti-death penalty. Other issues I care about are feminism, racial issues, and mental illness rights. I honestly don't know what to make of the war in Iraq.
I read shounen-ai and yaoi, but I'm picky about it. I refuse to read mpreg or fanfiction where two guys who hate each other in canon end up falling in love. In the Sailor Moon fandom, I like Kunzite x Endymion and manga!Kunzite x Zoisite. In the My Chemical Romance fandom, my favorite pairing is Frerard, but I'll read pretty much anything if it's good enough and doesn't involve any of my squicks.
My favorite band at the moment is My Chemical Romance. I own all three of their CDs plus a bunch of B-sides and a buttload of interviews downloaded from various places all over the Internet. I also have a bit of a crush on Mikey Way. My favorite album by them is Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. I can't pick out my favorite songs because there are so many of them. The only song I don't like by them is Give 'em Hell Kid. I don't really know why I don't like that song, though. I love Cemetery Drive, but I can't always listen to it because of the emotional impact it has on me.
I am atheist, but unlike some atheists, I will not judge someone for being spiritual or feel insulted if you say "bless you" when I sneeze.
